Design Details
The raised walk deck design allows the 396 Carver to have a much wider, roomier and brighter below decks than you would expect. More like an open "great room" with plenty of salon seating and space for all sorts of amenities like an end table, comfortable couches and it is open to the galley so no one feels "shut in". The two heads are very comfortable and are also separated fore and aft. Each head has ensuite showers as well so owners and guests can have complete privacy. No more "share the shower' issues. The open concept also applies to a very wide and comfortable flybridge and aft deck.  Access to the fore deck is again very easy and safe to go forward to the two sunpads or tend to lines or the anchor.  Carver did a lot of research to be sure that the 396 is the most well designed, safe and extremely comfortable cruising boat possible. They really nailed it!
